Blog Post #3 Biogeochemical Cycles



1) Our brassica oleracea this week looks like it has gotten bigger. It looks more green and colorful then the last few weeks I got pictures of them.
2) When the water gets into the soil and plants the moisture goes through the plants from roots, then it changes to vapor and is released to the atmosphere.
3) Our plant participates in the carbon cycle in the biosphere because carbon photosynthesizes into plants from the air and then the plant breaks it down and the carbon respires to the air.
4)In the nitrogen cycle the soil bacteria changes ammonia and ammonium ions to nitrate ions. Nitrogen ions turns back to nitrogen gas.
