Blog Post #4  An Ecological Analysis of the garden and your Plants
1) Abiotic  factors a plant needs for survival are sunlight, water, oxygen, soil and temperature. Biotic factors are amount of water, temperature and predators.
2) We can tell our plants are in competition because all around our plant are more plants that want more water and sun to grow. The competition are other plants and animals. And they have the same niche which is to get food and be healthy.
3) Winners and losers would be decided by who gets the most sun and water and which plant grows more and more. What makes it complicated is that  both plants get the same amount of sun and water and so it can be hard to call it even.
4) Other types of interaction would be interacting with other plants and animals who want what the want. This affects each organism because they can be hurt or in relief of whatever they got.
5)Some evidence of there being succession is that a lot of the plants have the same color and size and maybe some shape. There is no secondary succession even though something like that could happen. It seems like more primary succession.
